Happy Friday, Frens!

How to Spot Fake Online Reviews for Products

Just like many “influencers” and celebrities buy followers from bot farms, companies buy plenty of fake reviews.

My disclaimer is I’m not saying products are or aren’t legit…

… but the REVIEWS might be in order to bias purchasing decisions.

Don’t sue me.

However, FakeSpot is a good tool to prevent being scammed, especially with so many fraudulent product peddlers on major online retailers.

To see if your eBay seller is a snake or that five-star Amazon rating is bullocks, plug the product page URL into:

The Best Fish Oil for Pets

If you think supplements for humans are sketchy, consider the crap they peddle for your pets.

Fish oil for your dogs and cats is awesome as long as you perform your due diligence.

Avoid:

  • Amazing Nutritionals Omega 3 Chews (contains fractional amounts of omega 3’s — less than even listed on label)

  • Doctor’s Foster + Smith Premium Plus Omega-3 for Dogs (only contains 51% of listed EPA and 44.2% of listed DHA)

  • Iceland Pure Pharmaceutical Human Grade Fish Oils - Salmon Oil (extreme rancidity)

Recommend:

Pet Honesty Wild Caught Omega-3 Fish Oil for Cats + Dogs

  • 582 mg of EPA/DHA

  • Refrigerate after opening (like any fish oil)

  • You can check it out here.

If we find we have the same excuses repeatedly for why we can’t achieve/do something we claim to desire, maybe it’s time to see it as a cognitive crutch to absolve oneself of accountability versus a legitimate excuse.

Almost everything in life defaults to its mean; its average way of being.

If something in your life needs to change, then the default you always revert to needs to change.

✅ Good excuse: I couldn’t keep my commitment to (fill in blank) because I actually got hit by a bus. And then it went in reverse and hit me again.

❌ Lame Excuse: I was going to meet my friend at the gym/meal prep/hire a coach/see this program or class through/tackle preventative maintenance to-do’s of my investments…. but (insert same years-old excuse here).

Don’t dwell. Don’t beat yourself up.

Just call bullshit on your bullshit and stop short-changing yourself. We’re not fooling anybody.

It’s like masturbating with sandpaper when we do this. We’re only f*cking ourselves badly.
