This morning at the gym — like many mornings — I see people attempting stiff legged deadlifts (SLD’s) when what they’re really doing is working hard to achieve lower back injury.
SLD’s done correctly are unbeatable for your hamstrings.
Although they’re not in this cycle’s workout, they’re in just about every workout I program.
Watching this morning’s multiple-train-wrecks of SLD’s inspired me to share a demo I made for a private client.
In this vid there’s an unconventional, NSFW cue that will really help you connect to your hamstrings in a way you haven’t before.
