Morning, frens! It’s a slow, stormy Sunday morning here.
For paid subscribers kicking off the 2025 Pull Up Palooza tomorrow, I wanted to do a quick “how to warm up” demo vid (in my jammies).
This works whether at home or at gym.
It’s raining hard outside so I apologize for the background noise.
One thing I didn’t demo (because I don’t have bands with me) is that doing rows with bands is also a great warm up.
Same concepts apply for any kind of pulling movement:
shoulders blades packed down gently into back pockets
full range of motion where scapula spreads apart at full stretch/hang and comes back together to crack an imaginary walnut behind your back.
🔥Warming up is crucial for injury prevention AND it allows you to pull more weight because your muscles are warm and flushed with metabolites.
