WELCOME TO PHASE 3, Week 11!

Two more weeks to go, team! So proud of you and stoked for the strength you chose to cultivate for yourself.

Here we are at the end of the first quarter of 2024 and you are crushing it!

🏖 SUMMER WORKOUT POLL

  • after we wrap up this 3-month program, we’ll need to do a one-month re-sensitization training. The OG Shredders may remember this.

    • What is it? After three months of hard training, we need to give your muscles, mind and central nervous system a cool down.

      People who over-train (just like people who never stop dieting) run their systems into the ground, making future progress nearly impossible and thus creating the opposite of what they’re trying to achieve.

  • Resensitization is a reset. We “lock in” all the strength and muscle gains you made happen while not adding additional stress. This allows everything to recover, heal and grow. This makes your body receptive to the next training cycle and able to hit greater heights.

  • If you’ve been dieting the past three months, the end of week 12 is the time to stop and slowly increase intake for the same reasons as above. We need to lock in your new fat-to-lean mass ratio while preventing rebound bodyfat gain. Some of you remember this as “seal and cement.” We don’t want to get to a point of metabolic downregulation by over-dieting. You’ll slowly add in new foods and teach the bod this new amount of muscle, bone and fat is the normal. You’ll want to do this at minimum for 5-6 weeks before ever attempting to cut again. Ya gotta eat to keep muscle!

  • Now that we laid a solid fitness and physique foundation these past three months, we’re going to do monthly-ish cycles with different focus to keep it fun and spicy.
